What a waste! 2012-02-29
I felt like I was robbed after my breakfast escapade with Chez Vous. I was given absolutely NOTHING of my moneys worth. The egg white omelet was limp and bland, and looked like the chef did me a favour by making it for me along with a side of toast, pretentious parsley and Orchids. The side order of Madeleines tasted like stale Mawa cake batter from an Irani bakery being baked and dipped into chocolate.I could have settled for a beautiful breakfast elsewhere, rather than at this "oh so cool" wannabe French bistro. Here’s a review of a meal at Chez Vous. I was there last night for dinner.
The Food:
For starters, we had the Poached Eggs which were good. For mains, she had the Coq au Vin and I, the Chateaubriand.
The Coq au Vin was impeccable, the portion very generous and overall a sumptuous treat.
The Chateaubriand, arrived late - Frederic informed me that the chef’s first attempt was not the standard (225 gm?) size. This attention is appreciated. The sauce was delicious and the meat done to a medium rare perfection. The cut was a bit sinewy though, but only a bite or two.

French in all ways!!! 2012-01-20
Was here last year on 13th Feb which was a Sunday, and to my surprise this place was almost empty. I guess this place was quite new at that time. So in terms of service being the only guest in the house except for the owner and his friends sipping wine on the ground floor we enjoyed all the privileges :D
Ambiance: nice and cozy, i just have a feeling that if fully packed the upper floor will become too crowded or compact as i was sitting on the upper floor. But otherwise i liked it.

After lookin at the positive reviews,I and my husband decided to try out the restaurant, but our expectations went for a toss as we entered into the restaurant, the attendant and the manager didn't even offer water,and when we asked them their suggestions, they could come up with only non Vegas platter,the fish was not fresh, the attendants didn't even bothered to ask us our feedback and theirsuggestions for main course,frankly didn't like the restaurant and the service, wouldn't recommend my friends -
