  • China BLUE...Takes the Blue Out of Ya!! 2010-04-03

Well, it sits at the nook of a lane in Bandra. And to find it packed with people at 5.30 pm on Tuesday....tells a lot bout this place!!! Excellent choice of mughlai curries, well endowed Hyderabadi flavor and meltin-in-da-mouth kebabs may well fill ur tummy but not ur heart! Rightly grilled, appropriately spiced up! The chefs xpertise says it with the first bite of succulent meat! The hukkahs are awesome! Some great flavors available here. Moderately priced though the food is a bit expensive fare. Much better than Sheesha, Barbecue Nation and Kareems! Mocktails are OK. Service is satisfactory thoug... read more

  • Chinese Hukka anyone? 2010-03-21

Suhail’s China blue as the name suggest is a Chinese restaurant which also serves Hukka (a first of its kind maybe?) but lo and behold there is Mughlai and Indian fare on offer as wel! Well that is not a problem really cause’ we were here to smoke some hukka! As suggested by a hukka specialist that I happen to know (what are the chances!), we ordered for a Grape Mint, a mixture of grape and mint flavours!

In the meantime while the hukka was being ready, we changed our seats to a more comfortable lounge like sitting area where one can spend hours smoking and not realise!! The hukka we order

  • A good place for a change. 2008-11-13

I went for the first time and believe me i didn't expect so much comfort and a good longe ambience. It's a small place but unique in itself.China Blue is fabulous place as far as it is considered for hookah, mocktails, food and crowd.I have visited every other place where collegeians go,but this place has more you can say silent crowd. No loud music,no cheapos. It's a good place for a change, and the staff is pretty professional and that adds an extra point to it.Good place to be.Have a try.

  • good hangout....... 2007-11-20

Initially it comes as a pretty tucked away place......but on the contrary to the first review this place is pretty decent......
Ambiance - well the ambiance is pretty much like a sheesha lounge with good music....
And the crowd mostly college going...... chilled out ppl....

Food - Though i had been in afternoon n had Cheese kebab it was pretty good and ya no plastic plates as mentioned in earlier review.....
    The hookah was really good......

Price - It's moderately expensive with starters priced @ 125 so do the math yourself....
    n hookah @ 250.......

  • Strange.... 2007-04-27

I went to this place for the sheer convenience of its location for me, my impression being that it served Chinese. On closer inspection, once the car was parked I realised that they also listed Mughlai and Sheesha. As one enters, the ground floor is designed to be a sheesha lounge with the floor above that being the restaurant. The menu as advertised at their entry lists Indian (Mughlai) and Chinese food at fairly moderate prices. Ordered some Chinese....which they strangely served along with onions, lemon and green chutney. The food was more at the grade of a road side stall. What was strangest... read more
