i lke the food,definately the crispy spinac,threaded paneer,lotus pot rice,as i m veg i lke all the food,its very tasty,ang honey noodles wth icream ,its yummy. -

China Gate Attitude 2008-10-22
Having to drop a friend off at Central & having to pick up something at the mall, we decided to have a couple of beers to beat the afternoon heat. Don G was a good option, but having eaten italian the previous night we decided to go for China Gate.
2 to 3 waiters/stewards pounced on us the moment we walked in, guiding us to the right of the restaurant. Presumably to save on AC or some retail guru must have asked them to seat every patron on the right.
Mineral Water Sir!!! was asked by everyone except the manager.... even after selecting Kingfisher.

Not impressed 2008-06-16
Visited the restaurant once with my father. Upon entering and noticing patrons seated and having their orders taken, we were accosted by two or three waiters and were told that the restaurant was closed.
We were not impressed. Waving a platinum cc around may have solicited better treatment, but we believe that good service is mandatory regardless of what you spend there. We never visited it again. -
