Nothing like the original bons. 2012-01-05
Having been a lover of cinnabons while I was in Bahrain, I was excited to know that Cinnabon has opened outlets in Mumbai. I actually recommended a friend who likes cinnamon flavor, to try em out (on the basis of the ones in Bahrain) EVEN before I did. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to visit this place earlier, I managed to last weekend after a food dinner at Soul Fry.
What an disappointment! I'll tell you why:
I know what the original cinnabons should taste like and the ones available here were FAR from it. We ordered a chocolate minibon and an original minibon.

over sweet for my liking but the cinnabons are awesome, a lil indulgence once in a while is ok i suppose...must try only for the choco and pecan cinnabons.... -

Replacing the infamous Has Juice Bar in Bandra, the international dessert chain Cinnabon has opened its first outlet. With restaurants like Cafe Basilico and 5 Spice in the neighbourhood, our expectations from this one were quite high.
With a small outside section comprising of three tables, we were disappointed to see that there was not enough seating space on offer. The inside section had a huge counter displaying the freshly prepared Cinnabon rolls and a kitchen at the end of the counter.
