The ambience is perfect, the service is attentive and the food is tasty with good helpings. This is what I can quickly encapsulate about Corleone.
The restaurant has an extensive wine list of which I chose the Sula Brut wine, which was nice, fruity and fizzy.
The shrimp bisque was a letdown and tasted more like tomato soup. However the accompanying shrimp wafers were nice and crunchy.
The Norwegian pink salmon on a bed of lettuce was succulent and well cooked. We even had a grilled chicken pot pie pizza, which was ok.
What struck me about this place was the generous servings. The pizza was stuffed and unless you have been starving for a couple of days, it is unlikely you can polish it off.
I was looking forward to tasting the cheese fondant here, which was highly recommended, but thanks to a full belly I had to forego it. But I intend to visit Corleone again soon, just for the fondant.
