I so wont agree with an earlier comment on Costa's comparison with Starbucks! If one has to compare the two in terms of price standards, i wouldnt deny but one must consider the quality and choice of offerings. Quite dismal in terms of the range of coffee products. Topped with that the service - We were served our cold drinks in plastic take away glasses and when asked we were told that they ran out of the regular glasses (note: coffee shop was half empty at this time).
On a request to add a little choc sauce on one of the blended coffee shakes, the request was clearly followed by a few drops of choc sauce but it accompanied by a 30rs xtra charge for the choc sauce.
Ambiance is good, location is great but spending 230 bucks for 2 avergae tasting coffees? I would rather go to CCD (stones throw away from costa) and enjoy a better tasting coffee better valued in terms of price.
