On Jan 1st, 2012, my wife and me landed up at Crossroads 92 for dinner. The staff quickly escorted us to the first floor where we selected a corner table. We liked the ambience but found the music too loud. We called one of the staff members and asked him if the music can be turned down a notch. His reply was "No Ma'am, we cannot turn down the music. On this floor, it will play at this volume. You can move to the ground floor where the music can be adjusted. Crossroads 92 as the name suggests was expected to be on some 4 way road or a famous circle but I was more curious to know what did ‘92’ stand for, and it was one of the first few things which I asked Nigel (manager) at the place and he was glad to answer that it stood for the pin code of that place, later revealed that lots of brains had gone behind coining the name.
At the outset, was surprised and happy that the place has a valet parking, which is a rarity in the surrounding areas, rather till Malad. Great ambience and décor are positives to start with and they have different genres... read more
