High on Bollywood Tracks 2008-09-29
Great place for people who would wanna swing to bollywood tracks. With this context, the music at this club on a sat night was terrific! Open till 3 (unlike the 2 am deadline for many others)...the crowd started pouring in close to midnight.
An all cover couple entry for 1500/- which will buy u 4-5 drinks. Drinks are a little expensive & quite ok. Nothing too great about the ambiance either..infact got over cramped at a point in time.
But overall, the music is worth every bit of the cons. -

ok, so you dont expect world class nightlife in Bombay...but this is just rubbish - you wait an age for a mediocre cocktail that was invented in the eighties and you have to get past the neanderthal manager/doorman charging you 2000rps to get in (cos people here go to places and sit all night with a glass of water) just trust me....don't go here - you'd have more fun having a drink at home and listening to mtv - yes , it's that bad. -

simply rocking! 2007-01-18
We hustled down to Czar Bar after our mediocre dinner at Corleone. The waiter was kind enough to get our entry fee waived. Even if he had not, I would have paid to get in here. Once we were in, the scene was totally rocking. Music was mostly top 40, hip hop, bollywood, but what made this place so cool was the crowd. Everyone was at their best in terms of dress, and that goes a long way in any bar or club. People were generally cordial and there were no scummy guys. Hep crowd, hep music, drinks were a bit expensive, but I guess that is the price you pay for a good time. -
