The meat is red! 2011-11-25
Been here twice. The food is good and reasonable. And I love the fact that the chef knows exactly how to cook red meat be it steak, lamb or pork. We started with the Seafood Minestrone soup... a good start I'd say. Then we tried the cold cuts salad... absolutely delicious... the gherkins and chorizo gave the salad a lovely tangy flavour. My friend tried the Orange flavoured chicken salad which was ok... a bit on the sweet side. For main course, we tried steak, grilled chicken and pork chops. Good Food 2011-11-23
I was here with my girl friend on a weekday .... The place was relatively empty but a little noisy due to a couple tables with loud ladies.
The place is nice, cozy and the so is the food but I think it is way over priced. For 2 of us, including a soft drink and 1 starter an entree and a side the damage was around Rs.1200 ..... Although the food was pretty decent, I dont think it commands the price they charge. -

Bad Experience. They have lost a customer! 2011-05-23
Went there with a friend yesterday and had the worst experience ever! Firstly - they are more expensive than Out of the Blue and Basilico! WHY! Our Bruschetta arrived like a lump of toppings on soggy bread! Penne Paprika had carrots, beans and Coriander - looked like Upma! Penne Pesto tasted like a sweet dish - we could hardly taste the basil (I don't think they use basil to make pesto)! I advised the chef to go and have a meal at Out of the Blue and Basilico to taste real Italian food. The wall carries a certificate from burrp certifying them as authentic Italian food place - that was in 2009!... read more -

Cockroaches on the table! 2011-03-19
We visited Da Vinci's last evening, expecting a good Italian dinner. We were seated at a table and as we were about to place the order noticed a cockroach running aross the table! The staff asked us to be seated at another table, which we did.
For starters we had bruschetta which was average. But just as we finished the starter, we noticed another cockroach run aross the table again. The staff removed the cockroach and informed us that they had recently done a pest control treatment and offered us yet another table.

Excellent food and service 2011-03-05

The food and service was excellent esp. to handle 15 ppl with mix orders of Jain and non jain.
Our table waiter Mr. Manoj did an exceptional job and made sure that whatever was ordered was served to the right person on the table of 15 without any glitch.
The food was excellent. Perfectly hot and ready to eat. My jain friends were very happy with no. of items the chef prepared for them.

Always good times with good food! 2011-02-22
Went to Da Vinci for lunch (1PM) with a friend last week. After we started off with Garlic bread with cheese my friend ordered creamy pasta with chicken and strawberry ice tea. While, I opted for pasta in mixed sauce with chicken and jalapenos and Peroni beer. Food quality and quantity was good. I am not a regular at Italian joints in the city so I honestly cant pass the judgment other than "I was satisfied". It was good food, perfect quantity and to top it up swift service. I am going back to Da Vinci soon. -

enjoyed the food n everything 2011-02-04
Went for dinner yesterday. enjoyed the lambchops, were so fresh n juicy. prices are lower than other restos in the same locality so i will rate this one as good italian food with good wine to go with. cheerz da vinci -

good food n with the change in management, portion size too has been superb. dishes are different than other restaurant. i have become a complete fan. thanks for the change. keep it up -

Good Food but quantity is too less 2011-01-27
Went to Da Vinci last sunday. Reached there little early at around 8:30 in the evening so easily got a place. After 9 it was full.
I ordered a beef roll for starter. Roll was good but very small portion . Only 4 small pieces of the beef for 250 rs. quite expensive for the quantity. Then ordered Orange Chicken salad. Very disappointed with the quantity. Not worth ordering this dish. Ordered chicken pasta. pasta was good but again quantity was very less. You can really enjoy the food if you don't mind paying lot of money.
Not going there again. -

Almost One and a half hour for a pizza..... 2010-11-06
We had been for dinner at this place...We are pizza lovers so decided to munch on some pizza's...
We placed an order for 2 pizza's....waited for about 25min and the waiter came with just 1 pizza...
I waited for sometime as I thought it will arrive soon...
Waited for 15min...my wife had almost finished her pizza....lol....
I asked the waiter what happened to the other pizza y it hasn't arrived yet...he was clueless and said which other pizza.....
just imagine...
I waited for 45min for my meal and the waiter had not written the order...
