Good food, average service. 2011-11-28
Had been to this place this Saturday 26/11. We started off with soup and we asked for some recommendations on certain items on the menu, but the server failed to answer adequately and we ended up ordering the chicken manchow soup as a safe bet. The soup was nice, but the fried noodles that were served along side looked as if they were preserved since ages until they were served today and smelled of stale oil. We let them rest, maybe they had plans to send it to the museum. Anyways, the soup was good! I was a big fan of this restaurant coz they really used to serve good quality food which i normally do not find in most udipi restaurants.. bt my last visit disappointed me a lot... i ordered sum prawn starter which the waiter suggested to be their best starter and to be honest it was a huge let down... i wanted to have tandoori chicken bt the waiter told me that tandoori items are served only after 7 ... so we ordered drum chicken.. which i feel should be renamed as drum cornflour .. the chicken tasted stale and was coated with a thick layer of cornflour... thoroughly disappointed we decided... read more -

One of the Best in Mulund 2011-05-12
A very nice place to dine with awesome food, a very pleasant ambience and drinks to accompany. I have been visiting it since quite a few years and can guarantee that it is one of the best restaurants Mulund has got. -

The best part about the place is its food. The chicken boti kebabs are to die for. Its well done up and has a warm inviting ambience. Whether you just want to have a drink,or a nice family dinner,this place is appropriate and comfortable for both. Good food and value for money!! -

Food & Service is good, its pretty spacious and ambience is way better than I expected considering it's bang outside the Mulund station. Plasma TVs and bar stool arrangements on the lower level makes it a good choice to watch matches as well. -

amazing ambience and food 2011-04-20
deepak bar and restaurant serves mouth watering starters, specially shonali kabab, is one of the best kabab's i hv evr had.. all the tandoor and chinese starters r good.. main course has a good variety to choose from, but my fav wld be d malvani chicken.. d biryani here shld not be missed.. its always a good dining experience
also wenevr i hv guest/friends 2 home, i call for food from here, and they deliver yummy food in a very quick period..
in short its a gr8 place to eat wid fmly and frnds.. -

The food is decent.....prices are affordable...gr8 place for a huge group 2 hangout 2gether......although reaching the place is a huge task in itself....as the restaurant is right opposite to the station with loads of traffic around..... -

Whenever i have visited Deepak which is located in the heart of mulund, i really had a very warm and a pleasant experience. The service is really quick. The food is awesome. I really like their vegetarian food. Whenever i want to have good ghar ka khana type food i normally visit Deepak or ask for a take away as its much closer to my house. And another thing is that the delivery is also done quickly. ”
The menu looks pretty good on the wallet and its really awesome that it provides everything you would like at that point of time. A must go for teenagers, college students, office goers.... read more -
