After much deliberation, I visited Don Giovanni on Feb. 14th along with my Wife. To my surprise, my entire valentine evening got spoiled. Some of the keen observations I would want to point are
There was a car parked at the main entrance, leaving no space for people to enter the restaurant. I am not sure what the security is up to.
Interiors are good, but extremely poor service.
The moment I entered the restaurant, I could find no one to attend us at the gate, after a momentary wait I could find 3 attendants addressing me at once if I had a reservation. ( I am happy, I did not make a reservation for such shady service).
Instead of directing us to the table, I was explained on cover charges of INR 1000 per head for valentine's day. The tone and manner was extremely poor. Please learn some basics of customer service.
I was seated at an uncleaned table which was left unattended for 15 minutes and I had to call for the waiters to clean the stuff. I was provided with the menu but no orders were collected for another 15 minutes. I again had to call the waiter for this and ask him the problem. I could only hear SORRY SIR!!!! We are busy !!
Food is OK definitely not worth every penny I paid. It took another 45 minutes to serve the food. Everything here seemed like a torturous ordeal to me.
Blunder in billing - The cover charges went up by INR 600 (total INR 1600) when the final bill arrived. There was no explanation to that.
I could only hear SORRY SIR !!!!!!!!!!!
My Comment for this restaurant- SORRY SIR, I visited your restaurant, would never do so again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had a crappiest service for no worthy food except for one or 2 items.
Thanks for spoiling my Valentine's evening.
