A Racist.

On 22 Sep 2008 my Best Friends Visited the Restaurant. The below is his account... after this i shall never visit this restaurant.

It was a regular day and we friends decide to go to Don giovanni restaurant.

We ordered for the food. Half way in the meal we spotted a cockroach in our pasta. We called the waiter and made him see the plate. He in no time took the plate back to the kitchen. We told him that we will pay for the drinks and not for the food.

DG is what this city needs

Don Giovanni has great food! ...only if they had staff which was more knowledgable about italian food and the music played was more like Mozarts Piano concerto 21 then it would be perfect.

Iv been hearing about this place for ages and finally decided to go there about a year and a half ago. Since then Iv been hooked. This place is really popular with the Italian expats in Mumbai and I guess this is due to the fact that it is really authentic. This place easily serves some of the best italian food in Mumbai. I reccomend the Pizza Ai Salami and the Beef Lasagna. The food here is authentic unlike most other restaurants where it is changed to suit the Indian Palate. Move over Gotti - Giovanni is here!

Went to this place for dinner with a friend last night. Being the SOBO brat that I am, I was a little perturbed by my friend insisting that we go here - the thought of driving all the way to Juhu was a little daunting. Luckily it was not raining and the traffic was not too bad.

We walked into this very unassuming place with a superb neighborhood feel - think your average middle-of-the-road Italian eatery in New York.
