Needs to drastically improve! 2009-11-19
Our meal at Don Giovanni was disastrous to say the least! The complimentary bread basket consisted of four slices of cold bread straight from the fridge served with butter and a teaspoon! The main course took 45 minutes to be brought and the pizza was without the toppings asked for, so had to be taken back. When we asked for napkins we were given paper tissues as apparently the laundry service wasn't functional that day. Despite complaining to the manager, there was no effort to make amends. The bread basket was later replaced with garlic toast but that's about it...do hope this place improves -

The service, food and ambiance is awful!
Service = cheeky, unhygienic and rude waiters with a response time slower than a snails.
To every answer the waiter believes being cheeky would get him somewhere!
The food took 55 minutes to the dot to arrive. To which, instead of an apology for delayin the food, we have a waiter say - "All good things must be waited upon." Whatever he means by that!
To add to that, clearly the food was nowhere close to be "good" We ordered a large amount of starters, followed by a main course. Out of 6 of us on that table, only one... read more -

Living close to Atria and being a big fan of Italian food, I was happy to have Don Giovanni open shop in South Bombay. But I was disappointed in the whole dining experience here.
On a positive note - the garlic bread is awesome and so is their selection of wine!
The service was below par for a restaurant like this - they take care of you but dont make you feel special as I was expecting.
Main course dishes were okay at best - try Basilico instead! -

22 Sep 2008 My Best Friends Visited the Restaurant At Juhu. The below is his account... after this i shall never visit this restaurant.

It was a regular day and we friends decide to go to Don giovanni restaurant.
We ordered for the food. Half way in the meal we spotted a cockroach in our pasta. We called the waiter and made him see the plate. He in no time took the plate back to the kitchen. We told him that we will pay for the drinks and not for the food.
