  • Dum Pukht - Good food sloppy service 2012-04-02

Post renovation the restaurant looks absolutely fabulous. It’s well lit, bright with lots of use of white with accents of orange. It does have a lot of the Mughal/Muslim motifs but done in an understated way. Think of the movies `Pakheeza’ or `Mughal E Azam’ with the sets thoroughly modernised. That is the look. The crockery is Villeroy and Boch and the table cloths are pure linen as are the napkins. The cutlery is sliver plated and looks nice and new. I have not seen a restaurant as well co-ordinated as this in India. It really is a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant continues to have Mohamed... read more

  • Great Food, but very expensive 2010-07-23

This is a place you shall not go very often as it is a very expensive place. To give you a perspective of things, a Biryani costs somewhere around 1,500/- and kakori kabab costs close to 1,400/-. A meal for two (minus drinks) can easily cost 4,000/-.

But the food is really good. I am not sure whether the food, ambiance and the whole experience is worth the price they are charging. But then there are more expensive places out there.

If you get a chance to go for any of the restaurants in ITC Maratha and want to try Indian cuisine this place is definitely worth the try.

The service was good but they seemed understaffed and over worked. It was an effort to get their attentione but they were very polite and courteous.

The food was out of this world, I loved the chicken kebab with my fave shermil roti (we asked for another portion)-it comes complimentary. Then we had the SHAHI NEHARI, that was awesome not greasy at all. It was delicious, and we had the black

Was there yesterday. Try out the Murg Khush Pardhah - it is brilliant, and much better than the one in Kebabs & Kurries. The Gilauti Kebab is also fantastic. The other chicken kebab is not that good - stick to the lamb ones.

The curries can be greasy, so be careful.

The service is not attentive - they may be understaffed.
