  • Over-hyped!!!Strictly average food! 2012-03-04

This joint is quite popular and is well-known for chaats and pani-puris . Besides sitting on the outside , it has also an ac restaurant . The place looks clean and food seems to be hygienic in the first look. We were 3 families and wanted to have some spicy snacks. We started with Pani-puris , Rs 50 for 6 pieces . Most of us however did not like that but our mausi who was visiting us from US loved it. Next we ordered Basket chaat, papdi chaat which was overflowing with curd and extremely bland . Pav Bhaji came with dahi vada and gulab jamun ( great!) but the taste of the bhaji was just average... read more

  • Yummy Chaat & South Indian 2011-04-04

I had eaten here once a long time ago and felt it was overrated. Was passing through and decided to stop for some chaat.

Food: First we shared a couple of plates of Pani Puri amongst us downstairs before heading up. Next up was the Raj Kachori and Sev Puri. Didn't try the Sev Puri but the Pani Puri and Raj Kachori were simply delish with the right amount of sweet chutney and stuffing in the Raj Kachori. Surprisingly even the South Indian was equally good. The red chutney with the Mysore Sada was among the best I've had.

Damages: Approx Rs 450 - Rs 500 for 2 pani puris, raj kachor

  • Super Un-hygienic 2010-11-08

I'm a bandraite and have been to elco a few times, however saturday night was a disaster - went there to get kulfi falooda and to my shock and disappointment i saw a cockroach in the bowl while eating

I went back to the counter and showed the cockroach to the owner, who very calmly said "let me change that for you" - sounded more like an everyday affair for him.

I refused to take a change and so was handed over the refund immediately

Din’t think it was wise enough to stand there and fight about how could he serve customers in this way, however its important to
