Excellent variety and service 2011-10-23
We went for sunday brunch as a group of 25.. thoroughly enjoyed the environment, service and pampering variety of food - indian, italian, japanese, lebanese, thai and what not..these dessert counter was full of variety ....go for it -

Confusing 2010-11-29
I completely agree with MumbaiMoo's review. Definitely worth going there once - if not anything, but the pot - real techno-stuff, and yes, spent sometime gaping at the controls. :)
Was there for lunch this afternoon, and while the food is good, actually excellent, am unable to what is the USP of the place. Undoubtedly, it is very well spaced out, but the decor leaves one confused.
While I liked the live counters, the choice in each cuisine is pretty limited. Also, how different is this from a normal buffet. The sushi counter was definitely interesting, but they did not offer sashi... read more -

Fifty-Five Percent 2010-09-12
In terms of academia, 55% is still a "pass", and this is what Fifty-Five East manages, but only just.
Now, let it be known that the Hyatt is one of my favourites in Mumbai. And I'm talking Grand Hyatt, not Regency. However, Fifty-Five East lets the side down somewhat.
So, as we all know, M Grill is gone, and finally the replacement was unveiled back in June of this year. Fifty-Five East (the name stems from the hotel's pin code in case you were wondering) has a new entrance (much grander) and level flooring, unlike its predecessor, and both add to the initial 'wow' factor.
