Finally! I have a verdict on my favorite pizza joint.
Formerly at no 3 (after Dominos and Papa Johns), and after years and years of gulping down large quantities of pizza and making the pizza industry rich, I have finally narrowed down on my current favorite pizza place. It's (you knew already, didn't you?! Cheater! :p
It is GARCIA'S!!!
I have come to this conculsion keeping in mind a variety of things:
1) Price - definitely cheaper than Dominos and Papa Johns
2) Variety - I guess they are all right up there when it comes to competitive menus

70% increase in prices ! Have they gone nuts! 2009-08-22
Yeah thats right...in a span of one month they have increased the rates by almost 70 % !
So the menu given here is way way old.
Whats 100 bucks on the menu is a crazy 175 bucks now !
Even pizza hut offers the same pizza(better taste) at a lesser rate ! -

Somehow, a little different 2009-06-30
This place is somehow a little different from the other pizza joints. The pizzas are usually somewhat lighter and taste better - don't ask me what the difference is - it's good. The garlic bread varieties are out of the world.
Somehow, when you order home, the pizzas are usually cold and the garlic bread turns rather rubbery. As long as you eat in, go for it. -

Great pizzas 2008-01-04
I am not particularly fond of heavy pizzas that one would get at pizza hut and dominos. Garcia's is one place where u'd get great light pizzas...
They always have some or the other promotion ( Mumbai mirror reader offer) and so it isnt very heavy on the pocket either.
They must improve on their home delivery service as they take very long at times to deliver your order.
I wouldn't recommend their EAT- IN since there is no proper seating arrangement.
So, good food but not-so-good service. -
