  • Never try the sizzler here

    Just returned from Gaylord. Today we decided to deviate from the regular Punjabi fare and opted for a sizzler. Believe me it was the biggest blunder. DO NOT EVER VENTURE ANYWHERE NEAR THE SIZZLERS at Gaylord. You would end up come out asking Why Lord? Lesson learnt - stick to Kobe or Yoko for sizzlers. I would honestly think twice before entering this place again. They have a new menu and the prices have been jacked up no end. A simple Tandoori Roti is now 40 + 12.5% VAT!!!

    We have always found this place to be a family favourite on account of the very good punjabi food that we get here - well flavoured and consistent and not exceedingly rich like those from the ITC family.

    I am surprised to read the reviews related to the staff and service but if so many people are saying it, must be true.

    I would suggest the restaurant bucks up and the service levels match upto the quality of food that they successfully serve up - the bakery i find is strictly ok barring a few items.

    Love the veg au gratin. You dont get au gratin like they serve

    I went to gaylord a few months ago in the peak of summer. First of all me and my friend were not allowed to sit in the Air Conditioned room because we didnt have a reservation!!! And then no one was attending to us.. i had to ask for the menu card , ask for water... And then we were so put off with the treatment that we didnt have much to eat..So the waiter was even more snobbish with us..He refused to give us the bill ( i had to remind him of that too!!) This is one of the worst experiences i have ever had....
