DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE
My friends and I have a customary TGIF dinner every friday; and since we all work in the Fort-Churchgate-Nariman Point area; we're usually visiting restaurants here.
On one occasion, we decided to visit our FAVE bakery (since college days) at Gaylords. However, having heard rave reviews about the food at GL, we decided to try out the restaurant instead.

Never try the sizzler here
Just returned from Gaylord. Today we decided to deviate from the regular Punjabi fare and opted for a sizzler. Believe me it was the biggest blunder. DO NOT EVER VENTURE ANYWHERE NEAR THE SIZZLERS at Gaylord. You would end up come out asking Why Lord? Lesson learnt - stick to Kobe or Yoko for sizzlers. I would honestly think twice before entering this place again. They have a new menu and the prices have been jacked up no end. A simple Tandoori Roti is now 40 + 12.5% VAT!!! -

Family favourite
We have always found this place to be a family favourite on account of the very good punjabi food that we get here - well flavoured and consistent and not exceedingly rich like those from the ITC family.
I am surprised to read the reviews related to the staff and service but if so many people are saying it, must be true.
I would suggest the restaurant bucks up and the service levels match upto the quality of food that they successfully serve up - the bakery i find is strictly ok barring a few items.
Love the veg au gratin. You dont get au gratin like they serve -
