I got a burnt cone!!!! 2012-04-14
After having a nice day at phoenix mills and lunch we went to GELATO ITALIANO. I saw on their menu and asked for Royal Kulfi, the staff told me it was not there, disappointed i decided to have Madagascar fine chocolate in a special chocolate cone which was 15rs extra. i got the normal size and just a HALF SCOOP even the regular cup size was big!
Ok! i got it the special cone and the icecream in it. I started to eat , the icecream was very nice but the chocolate cone had some kind of little piece of half cooked flour stuck to it. then as it was a chocolate cone it was brown in colour but actuall... read more -

I am very fussy about ice cream flavors and this is the reason why I love Gelato because they have an amazing range of flavors. The quality is the best among the ones that I’ve tasted lately. I really love and wait for their flavor of the month and I still remember the taste of last one, which was vchoco vanilla twist. It mesmerized my taste buds in such a way that I went to Gelato for three days continuously to douse my lust for it! -

The Best Ice Cream I ever had !!!!!! 2011-07-21
I went to visit my cousin yesterday and I took a tub of Madagascar Fine Chocolate ice cream for his children, which I bought from Gelato Italiano. My cousin’s wife served it to all of us and surprisingly, I ate it more than anybody in their family! It was quite embarrassing for me but I just couldn’t help it as it was the best thing, which I ever had. I don’t have a sweet tooth but that ice cream was so succulent that now I have developed one! -

I feel in love wid ice creams the day i had BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE !!
On top of that ..on the 1st of evry month thers Rs.9 flavour of the month which was new york cheesecake which was minblowing!! -

Really Cool! 2011-01-24
The variety in chocolate based flavours is quite good and each one is actually different from the other. As mentioned in the previous review, Madagascar Chocolate is indeed, a rich and completely satiating experience. Other flavours are nice too and there is something for each one's taste.
Currently, the Flavours of Freedom special is going on, until 26th Jan where 3 specified flavours are being offered for just Rs.20. They keep coming up with lots of such promotions for their new and old flavours which is really good for ice-cream lovers like me! -

Love the Flavours 2011-01-24
I really like the flavours at this outlet - Madagascar Fine Chocolate and New York Cheesecake being my favourites.
Also like the variety at this outlet and the regular offers and promotions that keep happening - The Rs. 9 offer on the 1st of every month is superb -

I love Gelato Italiano..I have tried quite a few flavours here & I've liked most of em.
I've tried:
Craciatella- really really good
Blue sky- too sweet but worth a try
Bubble gum- Avoid it! It tastes exactly like bubble gum
Fer Rocher- Sinful
Dark chocolate- Too good
Strawberry something- nice but nothin extraordinary
Lemon sorbet- One of my favs!
U should try Gelato atleast once..there are many flavours to choose from but yes, I still prefer Naturals over Gelato but thats jus my choice :-) -

In my opinion an review should be honest and brutal not just becasue you try one out of all the gelato shops.
I have been to all the four gelato shop and here is my review on Gelato Italiano
I dont like it because it tastes synthetic and is very powdery in taste. I tried the blue sky it was ---------------------bad.
In my opinion just doing up your shops with colours does not serve the purpose........................ even the service was not up to the mark -

the best low fat ice cream. 2007-01-12
Gelagto as a method of preparation has 2/3 fat as that in a normal ice cream, makes it softer and smoother.
But then... the amount of fat intake is more or less the same. Simply because you cannot stop at one serving... its yummmms.
Their flavors are unique and nice.For all who enjoy the sin - chocolate... go ahead and try their Italian dark chocolate or ferrero rocher. Its irresistible. -
