I was fortunate enough to attend Guitar Hall 3 years back. I had already taken two years of local guitar classes prior to joining Guitar Hall and decided that I was not getting the level of instruction that I required. Guitar Hall surely is the coolest music school around. After hearing about Guitar Hall’s reputation in Mumbai, I decided to enquire and found everything to be as good if not better than my expectations. One walk into their academy and you quickly realize it isn’t a normal institute. The training faculty at Guitar Hall is pretty strong. I have been attending Guitar Hall – Chembur center since the past 3 years and I have had very few classes that I haven’t liked. This is due to the teachers, the course content, and the environment.
First off I have to tell anybody who is reading this that might not have the patience to read the entire thing that the teachers here are top notch. The idea of guitar training for everyone is not so new. Many guitar/music teachers have been teaching from their homes and many teachers have been teaching at schools, colleges. But the training provided by these guitar teachers or small time classes, mostly, is lacking in professional training & theoretical knowledge . In many places the basics of music is taught with no theory whatsoever. The practical training is simply not there.
