Very Bad Service 2009-07-21
The place is very roomy with a lot of space between tables as well. But besides that somehow it just didn't live up to the Hard Rock name for me.
Ambience: We went at around 730 on Friday so it largely had people coming in for after work drinks. The music was very average.
Food: Ordered a veg platter, nachos with salsa and onion rings. The veg platter consisted of hummus, bread, some green pate, spring rolls (or somthing like it), potato skins and salad. The hummus was very average, you can get better anywhere, the green pate was actually disgusting but the spring rolls very nice. The onion rings very average while the nachos were pretty bad. Had also eaten a veg pasta in white sauce on prior occasions which was actuially bland. In short at best the food can be called average.
Drinks: Had the appletini which was the worst Ive ever had and was served in a champagne flute.
Service: This place definately the worst service ever award. Given it was still early the place was half empty and yet to order anything, anything at all you had to tell the waiter 10 times. Yes we asked for water, sour cream and drinks atleast that many times. By the time the sour cream actually came we were almost done with the nachos so it really served no purpose.
There are many better places one can hang out at. I guess this place draws crowds due to the brand and lack of too many watering holes in Worli. Though it would be a good place to throw a kids party. They have a good afternoon party menu for Rs 350 per kid. -
