For a 5-Star hotel, this restaurant is a terrible experience. I've visited this hotel on several occasions, but for the first time did I order off the menu in stead of a buffet. I was there in the morning at around 7:45 am and thought of catching a little breakfast before my flight at 9:20. In stead of going in for the buffet which was priced at Rs. 735/- (inclusive tax), I ordered for some poached eggs and my friend ordered for a plate of pancakes. While we sat there, I observed the chef at the breakfast buffet preparing eggs to order and trust me I would not have ordered any eggs if I were in fact eating from the buffet, because he did it with such disinterest - it was a terrible sight to start the morning to.
What's more, our server was so poorly trained, we had to repeat each word twice for him to understand and yet I wasn't sure if he understood everything well.
While we waited, I observed that the fabric on the seat covers of the cane chairs was so dirty and unhygienic it made me want to wash my hands after touching them.
Our small order finally arrived only after over half an hour and after reminding the waiters twice and it wasn't even hot. I'm only glad that I had a little while before my flight time or else I'd have to just leave my order and run.
