  • Worth It 2012-04-07

they have recently changed their menu...its very yummy kerala food. Also their mughlai dishes are are in line of Delhi Darbar and other top restaurants in Mumbai... but dammm cheap. We really enjoyed. Especially the Chicken 65 and Prawns Koliwada. They also have open fast food counter serving Arabic Shawarma, hummus, Tava rolls and baida rotis. Must try ...every 1 will really enjoy.

I went there with a friend last weekend... since it was a saturday, we managed to get seats immediately... we tried the kerala paratha... chicken roast dry.... fish curry and rice (it was wild rice which was absolutely fabulous with the fish curry).... and fish fry....as if that was not enough, we had half mutton biryani (yes they also serve half plates) .... our total bill was

  • Good Food Affordable 2010-05-03

Eco Grub's VFM choice -- Restaurant Purch Power Parity (RPPP) - Bangda Fry ~ 60)
A lunch home kind of place no airconditioning. Warning you so you know what to expect. No Alcohol.
A Kerala affair. Parothas, string hoppers, appams, and most of the steamed delicacies that one can expect from the South.
Fish curry rice is tops. Must try and Surmai fry the fish biryani and chicken biryani( less oily and perfect spice).
Stews are great too. More of a place where you want to have a tasty lunch with your office buddies with a “go dutch” shoe string budget.

Was looking for a good Biryani joint around FORT. A friend Recommended this place and we read a few reviews on FOUNTAIN PLAZA. It is amazing, the serving , the quality, the service spot on. It is a must try for everyone in Mumbai. Most of all it is extremely affordable, 45 bucks a plate!!!

  • Fantastic! 2007-02-16

Ordered Chicken Biryani and was almost skeptical when the bill was just Rs 45 per plate! It arrived well packaged and included poppadums, pickle, salad and payasam.

What can I say, it turned out to be the best I've had in recent times, and thats saying a lot!

Highly recommended. Glad I'm the first to review this hidden treasure!
