Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
I have eaten here ever since I was a kid and its the simplest, tastiest and most affordable of joints. The Veg Maharaja (Cashewnut gravy with vegetables) and Paneer Makhani are awesome for a heavy meal. And when it comes to snacks, the Misal Pav and Cutlets are to swear by. Simply delicious. Must visit :)
We had a good dining experience at Saroj restaurant today. We tried few south Indian dishes (masala dosa, rava dosa) as well as north Indian dishes (veg. makhanwala, dal fry) and chat (dahi puri). The food was tasty and inexpensive. A minor negative point is that the seating was a bit cramped. The service was good but a bit slow. Overall a worthwhile fast food restaurant in Chembur
Always a safe bet, if you want to have decent food, without much fuss. This is a quite place and the staff is also very friendly. Service is quick and food is great. They can also customize food, if you request them to. Over all great experience. Am longing to go back again and again,
Saturday evening, me & my family decide to have food from outside !!! After some discussions, Saroj is selected. We order a Masala Dosa, Medu Wada, Pav Bhaji, Tomato Soup, Paneer Tikka Masala, Stuffed Naan, Naan and Roti...all I can remember.
Everything is good except the Pav Bhaji which is a bit bland...I personally recommend this place to everyone in Chembur for a quick bite !!!
Standing at the circle near post office, Saroj is one of Chembur's most loved udipis. Hotel Saroj is split into two levels - Ac and non-Ac. Expect your typical family-crowd having south-indian and moghlai food.
For breakfast, have upma - it is absolutely delicious! Lunch special is puri-bhaji. And you cant go wrong with the pav bhaji. Top quality food at reasonable rates makes me happy :)
Their 'sweet mart' section has fresh ladoos and mithais.
A special mention of the waiters - they are very sweet and friendly. One of them even gives away paper frogs to kids. How cool
