A frenzy back in the 90's, watering hole HQ's is revamped and Colaba's Old school pub is back as City's 1st All- day pub. The once upon a time dark interiors have given way to a well lit green and oak wood English style pub. The bar is plotted in the heart of the pub so one can grab a drink from any four sides. A Vu lcd on one wall and witty law inspired paraphernalia and beer kegs on the other. Rock and Retro make up the play list at HQ's , with a little of Jazz and blues and no bollywood.
The place is a perfect hang out for people who want to chill out, drink, eat and maybe even conduct an informal meeting with colleagues during the bright hours of the day while sipping on beer. HQ's has a wide variety of fresh beer options, close to 15 and Kingfisher spewed right out of the tap.

Improvement Required 2011-12-02
The bar is huge making the space look too small. There were just two other tables occupied when we went but still we felt that we had limited choice for seats. The drinks menu is extensive and price is slightly on a higher side. Avoid Tap Beer & Cocktails, as they are diluted and have no kick. Continental Appetizers are limited in choice (They have lots of Indian tandoor items but for such ambiance you don't feel like having Indian) AWESOME NACHOS !!!! Total Damages for 3 people: 2400/- (2 Appetizers, 6 Drinks)

You get excellent Mojito`s there..... The food is decent ..... Ambiance is nice..... and most importantly good service..... Always a good place to hang out with friends...Also Hoegaarden and Stella on Tap :) -

Drinks are dilitued 2010-12-03
I have been to this place twice. Every time I had a mixed experience.
Drinks here are diluted. When we told the waiter about it then his response was its "proper sir". May be here but not at other places.
The portion of food is very good. The taste is also very nice.
The place is also understaffed.
They have happy hours too. And they also pre book your order which is great.
I suggest you to try other places around and if you dont find any place then visit this place. -

Ups and Downs 2010-06-27
I went to HQ for the England/Germany match. The place was packed. Ambience was great and the liquor is well priced. Quite liked the feel of the place. Only one thing that was very strange... Their menu cards stank... and i am not talking about the quality of items on the menu... It literally stank... As if their was fungi growing on it. We were stunned. We could smell it from a distance.. and the smell was on our fingers once we picked it up... worried me about the hygiene
But other than that.. its a great place to chill with friends... -

Thanks for your feedback, we are in process of a new menu and yes we have felt the need to add some more continental/international starters, also i would wish you would have tried the indian starters as they are really nice. I apologize on the credit card machine problem. Wish you would give us a chance again to make amends.
