Horrible service, terrible attitude

On Jan 15, 2010, my family and I visited Indigo Deli at 7:30 PM. We did not have a reservation and spoke to the person handling tables and reservations. Here goes a summary of the conversation:

My wife: "Hi, we don't have a reservation, but would a table be free for four people and an infant?"
Indigo Deli: "No, no tables free. All tables are reserved."
My wife: "Ok, there are no tables free till the reservations begin?"
Indigo Deli, irritated: "NO! I TOLD you they are reserved. There is one corner table free, but if you take it, I BETTER GET IT back by 8:30 PM."

excellent food and great chefs

The last place I had great thin crust pizza was Indigo Deli at colaba.The pizza was so thin crusted,easily melting in the mouth.I never had such good pizza before..and will visit only Indigo deli for that..The service was good but the excellent part is the taste and the presentation. The chefs personally take orders whenever required and prepare the dish according to the choice of the client. very rarely you will see the chefs interacting with the guest for the order. My 1st experience with Indigo Deli has been memorable. Not that im fond of continental food, but this time i thought to give it a try. So went to Indigo Deli with my friends on their suggestion. Dint try many items though, but wat I had was mind blowing, specially the Resotto (hope I have spelled it right) which the Chef had made for us on a special request. The service guys wer very co-operative, helping us to select the most appropriate menu. Good place to hangout...

I have visited Indigo deli very first time with my fiancee'.so that place is close to the memory...besides that the place has a great ambience..service is good..even it has been seen that chefs are also interacting with the customers .n satisfying their taste buds with delicious food. being veggie, not tried many of their dishes for which Indigo Deli is famous for but whatever I have tried till the date, has never disappointed us. I always look forward to visit this place for great food.
