finally got inked! :-) my first tattoo! was so nervous about the whole thing, but chirag is such a sweetheart who makes his clients so comfertable that you wont even feel the pain while tattooing. his brilliance is because of his passion for work. being my first tatoo i didnt want to take any chance, so had researched the whole tattooing scene in mumbai for a month. so had so many studios in mumbai but they are not even close to professionalism. i would like to take this oppurtunity to warn people out there who want to get inked about the internet deals they find on internet, all those are crap.... read more -

Priceless Picture Perfection! 2011-10-13
Tattoos are like stories - they're symbolic of something important in your life or about you. I am a cautious sort of person and would not trust any random ragtag wannabe to mark me permanently.
The only reason I decided to get a tattoo done was bcoz of Chirag. And I didn't stop at that... I have 3 tattoos now and each one is precious to me. When I say I trusted Chirag blindly, this is not an old cliched statement. I literally did not see the WIP (Work In Progress) on any of my tattoos, only the final pieces of art. I had the perfect picture for my tattoo design, only in my head and Chirag managed to sketch out an almost identical one. I got it done recently and absolutely loveeee it!!! -

the design i had in mind turned out to be a lot more amazing when it was inked by chirag !! Its a maori design,and. what can i say......the arm band fits as though it was meant to be!!!!

I felt compelled to write this after reading Ninad’s so called ‘Analytical’ review. I’m a Firang, from the UK and have lived in Mumbai for 5 years. I have 8 tattoos: Both upper arms, full back, lower left leg and several Han Characters. After almost a year of asking around and viewing pretty sub-standard portfolios I came across Chirag and immediately knew this was the guy. He lets his work and satisfied customers do the talking – no photos with Bollywood Stars or over descriptive hype. Chirag has tattooed me twice and together we’re working on my third. I doubt the genuineness of these reviews 2011-08-20
Hey Guys,
I am planning to ink a tattoo and thought of searching for the best artist in mumbai through google. I landed up here and was amazed looking at the reviews. However, being an analyst i tend to observe trends and found out that 80% of the reviews have been written in June - July 2010 & 2011. Also, the date of submission of these reviews are too close to be true. Further, the way the reviews are written also follows a trend in itself. Anyways, I better refrain from visiting this studio.

Hey Ninad a pretty interesting review u have written ..... i agree on wat u saying but these ppl who have posted the reviews for my work found me through burrp(some of them) and i guess u wud refrain coming to this studio, thts ur call but u can personally meet all these ppl and check out the work i have done for them n see the kind of work tht i do ..... any 1 in bbay who know abt good tattoos and any tattoo artist will definitely know who Chirag and what kind of work Chirag can deliver ....if u think these reviews are fake may be u should visit my fan page on FB or my Profiles n check out the...read more

Finally got my first (definitely not the last) tat 2011-08-19
Finally.... just got my first bit of ink from Chirag's Inks n Needles, couple of weeks ago, and turned out to be really good.
I've selected very simple tribal armband to start with (...greater consideration to my needle phobia :D ), but Chirag's tattoo skills, knowledge, creativity and imagination is at another level and I ended up with very attractive 2D effect, tribal armband with black, red & tinch of yellow colour.
I still remember sitting in the chair nervously thinking about the pain and final outcome. But within few minutes you come to know that expert hands are at work. I like... read more -
