...stay away like the f*cking plague if its anytime in the evening. This place turns into a clusterf*ck mob of the kind of people most of us want to stay away from: low-life wannabes that would do anything for gander at the gals; cricketer menaces who usurp valuable beach real estate with their games; and annoying families who love to trash the beach with food wrappers and other junk. The beach is more reminiscent of an unruly amusement park, complete with food stalls, gift and trinket vendors, and of course, the throngs of less-than-educated people.
Stay too late into the night and you might just see the occasional pimp and ho' trying to earn a buck or two by luring in the starved chaps.
The only enjoyable time to be at Juhu Beach is very early in the morning (I'm talking pre-7AM) when the beach cleaners have done their jobs well, adorable labs, retrievers, and other dogs are on their morning walks with their owners, and the stay-fit crowd is working hard to keep off those pounds.
Mumbai is just too crowded to have a truly secluded beach, but this is nowhere near what you'd expect of ANY beach.
