Superb Ice-cream at honest prices is not to be found very often in Mumbai. So when one visits K. Rustom Ice Cream (KRIC) and sees the shop itself, let it not be the case that the ambiance and the crowd turns you away. The crowd is there for a reason and as you jostle to get inside and get your hands on on one of the numerous offerings, it all starts to make sense.
KRIC makes delicious ice-creams, with their wafer-biscuits being wildly popular. As with TI-c, one floats on air while alternatively slurping, biting and licking on the ice-cream at hand.
They also have an array of fresh fruit juices, lassis and fruit drinks. Their mango ice-cream, at Rs. 50, is as expensive as it gets though the taste and the consistency does not let one down. Everytime one goes to KRIC, one can be assured about the absence of disappointment with regard to taste. As this place has been extensively reiewed, i do not see the need to sing more paeans about it.
All in all, visiting KRIC is a fulfilling exercise, for the senses as well as the mind.
