No good no more 2011-10-07
While they have been the most popular ice cream store in South Mumbai for the longest time, they don't quite make the mark any more.
Their ice creams taste alright, but melt too quickly. Prices have doubled in last year. Not much to say about their super prompt but very rude service.
Takes away the joy out of a good ice cream sandwich! -

Our family has been going here since 1960's. Fantastic flavours and they started giving icecream cakes in biscuits ! I only worry what is the succession plan of the owners and hope that someone is taking on the responsibility of managing this place for many years to come. -

The place is totally off beat and serves excellent ice cream.
It churns out ice creams that taste like no where else and are amazing.
Wafer sandwiched slice of soft n delicious icream of ur choice...walnut crunch, mulberry..ummmmm
NOT TO BE MISSED!! :) -

Old time charm in a modern world 2010-11-25
Totally agree with what the previous reviews say! The Baskin Robbins, Gelatos may come and go - but the simplicity and beauty of this place will always remain the same. Nothing like an ambience here, no AC, basically no frills attached. Just 7-8 chairs lined up on which you can sit and enjoy your ice-cream/curd/lassi. If that's not your choice, there's the Marine drive sea-face close by. Can't ask for anything better!

Dis place is a very old and 1 of a kind place for ice creams....
I used to go here with my dad 20yrs ago....still the place doesn't disappoint at all...
There is naturals,baskins,hokey,gellato and various other innovative ice cream parlours,but the ice creams out here are the most authentic and genuine ice creams I have ever had...Its a very special place for me and we love the ice creams out here a lot...a must try its surely 1 of a kind. -

You won't find any other place like this in mumbai! It's been around for eons but it's special, different, quirky, & unique! Best place for cold treats. Very reasonable prices. friendly staff. What's better than enjoyin the sunset on marine drive with one of Rustom's delicious ice creams?- Nothin...Am i rite or am i rite? -

Writing this review to bump up this post.... I have to no words for this quaint shop i have been visiting as a kid....even today that slab of ice cream sanwiched between two crisp wafer biscuits gives me complete joy....I do love my amores and natural and bachelors but K.Rustom will always have a special place in my heart.....Its my sincere hope that years from now my wrinkly hands will hold the same sandwich ice cream which once my tender lil hands held...Nostalgia for me.,,,,If you are a Bombaite/Mumbaite/Mumbaikar plz don't miss having this ice cream... -

This place is simply awesome! IF you decide to come here, try the ice cream sandwich. Their rum n raisin is mind blowing. They dont take any short cuts and thats why this place is still doing well. They are open till 11pm and will not say no to anything! All flavours are there and its buzzing at night...a must try! -
