Cockroaches found in the food 2011-09-30
We had ordered Chholey and found 2 cockroaches. On calling, he replied with an attitude. We refused replacement of the order. But his reply was a plain "OK" and he hung the phone on us. -

Chaat and Chat 2010-12-01
It is the most reliable place for a good chat and chaat. When you walk in, the neatly arranged food and sweets that greet the eye already makes the mouth water, and one just looks forward to all they have to offer. Be it the need to tingle tastebuds with all that great chaat, or satisfy the hunger with authentic Indian food , this place really is the best.The simple ambience is comfortable, and great for two friends catching up or for a simple family dinner. Oh, and the gigantic bhatura is worth a photograph! -

kailash parbat which once stood as a fortress in every south mumbais foodies menu has had a downfall in taste which once was its ace card. -

Oh well, it is sad to see the glorious institution of Mumbai chaat-dom having deteriorated in taste so rapidly! All their chaat is so bland! Blame the influx of firangs in the Colaba neighborhood?
Moreover, the ambience of the restaurant is pathetic! -

Plain poor 2009-08-19
Like most restaurants on Mumbai's fabled Colaba Causeway, KP is showing its age. The fresh delicious food it has been producing for decades has deteriorated into a bunch of ready made rubbish. This is my primary complaint for most of the "old greats". They tend to take for granted that people will keep pouring in regardless of their quality control.
Too bad I'm not one of the naive few.

we had an urge for chole bhature so ended up there. well must say that they really dont know what a bhatura was, coz what was served was just a big puri and the accompanied chole were too meagre. the thali we had was also just okie, though the parantha was nice and the lassi was also gud. but i dont think m interested in going there again. -

the new age sleeping pill ... 2007-07-24
Team burrp's search for "laddo's" took us to this place yesterday. The list of what we had could go on and on but the best part of this dinner was that it finally led us to really good sleep!!! We had some of the unexplored kailash-parbat options yesterday. I was here for the first time and enjoyed "rabdi" to the fullest. After four rabdi's that we had, i got one parceled for myself.
Everything that we had from paani-puri to cauliflower pakodas tasted awesome. The feat finally ended with all of us having a laddo each :) -

KP's food makes you sleep like a baby 2007-07-24
Okay, first things first. I don't know what is in the food, but last night I went to Kailash Parbat and then had the best sleep I've had in many months. And this was not just me, this was the case with everyone who went along with me. Now let's talk about the food.
I went there with the office crowd yesterday. We were five people in total. Amongst us, we shared the following - Pani Puri, Dahi Batata Puri, Dahi Wada, Mexican Sev Puri, Gobi Pakora, a couple plates of Pav Bhaji, 1 Salted Lassi, 1 Aloo Paratha, 4 plates of Rabadi, 5 Laddoos.
