  • Terrible food Nov 29, 2013

In one of the worst experience in mumba i ordered food from Kailash parbat on an evening when i was damn hungry and wanted to enjoy a good desi meal. After a good discussion with someone on the other side i ordered a seyal paneer & dal makhani and some naan and kulcha.

When i started to eat i was horrified to find that the dal makhani was sweet i mean really sweet . I spent 10 mins trying to add salt and stuff to balance it out but it was of no use . It was one of worst molestation of dal makhani i have seen in mumbai. The seyal paneer which was hailed as a sindhi speciality was also terri

If it was not for the excessive oil, we might eat here more often but where else could you get the best north indian snacks in Mumbai. The HUGEEEEE Chole baturae scared us the first time we ordered them and we could not have enough of the cholae. The pav bhaaji leaves a lot to be desired, especially in Mumbai and its recommended to stuck to the north indian savories. The main course looks as oily as one served in a Punjabi wedding but the people don’t seem to care. The dahi bhallas, paani puris are good and the deserts are excellent especially the hot gulab jamuns. People working nearby should... read more

  • Authentic SINDHI food + great CHAAT Jun 06, 2012

I went there on a Sunday evening for dinner with family - we were 9 people. We had to wait for 20-25 mins - and it was well worth the wait.
We ordered all possible cusines from Sindhi to Punjabi to Chaat to Chinese and even our fav Pav Bhaji. And I swear everything we ordered was the best you can get anywhere. Infact we were surprised to have Chinese as good as we were served - isnt the place know for its Sindhi food and Chaat?
I will suggest go for the sindhi food - sindhi curry is a must!!! Very few places I can think of that get close to serving you authentic sindhi food.

  • Place YOu should visit Jun 01, 2012

Food- You have two options: Buffet Lunch and Ala-carte. Buffet Lunch has soup, 2-3 vegetables, curry, rice, chapatti, also included in the menu are chats of Mumbai, and finally you can help yourselves with the variety of deserts. The food is quite tasty out here and yes also hygienic. I would recommend if you have any international colleague or customer and they want a taste of Mumbai´s chat, this is the right place.
Price- It is reasonably priced. The buffet lunch costs Rs300/- per person. We however had called for Ala-carte because we were interested to eat some Italian cuisine. Amongst
