Perfect for Celebrations 2011-04-29
Food: One of the best things is they have a separate and extensive veg menu unlike most restaurants that have just a couple of items as an after thought. ITC is famed for its food and we weren't let down. The dal is exceptional as always but the chutney unlike the one at Bukhara needs some work. The rotis were soo massive we had to share one between two people. The chocolate birthday cake in the end was exceptional with a hint of coffee.

Mixed bag!! 2011-02-14
Nice setting for a good meal but not all the food hit the mark.
Ordered the paneer tikka and tandoori aloo for starters. Paneer was excellent while the tandoori aloo was more like aloo chaat.
Main course was the black dal and meher paneer.Again, superlative black dal was accompanied with very average meher paneer.
Was a little surprised when we requested a couple of standard items off menu(paneer makhani or paneer tikka masala) and were turned down. -

It was a fine experience something that leaves behind the taste and feeling into you for days to come.. I had gone there on new years eve,,, it was a fixed menu experience... The food taste was amazinggggg the potato kebabs wer sprinkled with ample almonds that just ,made u sink into the great feeling...the other kebabs the sbziz were so rich n creamy.. U can see the kitchen from one eye n the sheer efforts taken by the chefs is clearly visible,, plus the spirits jus added to the whole joyful experience... It is an expensive place., so save it for occasions... -

Excellent Kakori Kebabs 2010-11-22
My favourite Al Kauser Kakori Kebabs from Delhi, finally found a competitor and infact they are better than those at Al Kauser, but on comparing the prices.........Al Kauser is just a fraction of it and I stick to Al Kauser especially for the Al Fresco experience in early or late winter.
The ambiance is great keeping in mind its 5 star positioning and service will obviously be good as its managed by professional, the only set of professionals who do a good amount of practical training before turning managers.
