Kir is a unique concept lounge, live-music venue and a club bent that wants to showcase the best DJ talent. Situated on Link Road in Andheri West, Kir replaces the first floor tedium formerly known as D-Ultimate.

Set up by entrepreneurs Sujay, Saral and Nipun, along with restaurateur Ankur Seth, and Karan, Sanam and Abhishek, the talented trio at Rubik's Hospitality Consultants , the 7000 sq ft area is full of surprises.

Signature cocktails served up to patrons by bartenders intent on conversation about the making of the drink.

A range of cocktails the likes of which the city has seldom been treated to before. Attribute this to Karan Purohit?s training under legendary chefs like Jose Andreas at Zataniya, Washington, D.C., and Heston Blumenthal at the 3-Michelin Star Restaurant, The Fat Duck, London. Generally people stick to their favourite drinks or cocktails, says Karan. We want to break that monotony of people sticking to their own drinks. The cocktail menu is at the heart of this club.

Live music acts every Thursday. The management at Kir knows perfectly well that Link Road and its neighbourhood has a distinctly performance-oriented soul to it. Kir wants to give as many talented local acts a chance to perform and create that magical vibe where artists and the audience interact in packed, tight, sweaty spaces.

Kir is intent on showcasing the best DJ talent from Mumbai and across the country, with cherry-picked international artists as well.
