Today is our last day of operation in Mumbai... We at KongPoush, thank all of you for all the support and encouragement all the time that kept us going and giving our best to all you food lovers. All your reviews also helped us to improve our performance and excel to our possible best.

Yum food.. just like home! 2011-09-19
I'd been to this place years ago when it was in Andheri. It then shifted to Oshiwara. I loved the food then, and I love the food here today as well. I've not got so many opportunities to dine here, but the few that I've had... I've really really loved this place. Off late, I came here with friends, and we loved the fact that it tasted like home cooked food. I brought my family here as well, and we loved it again!. It wasn't like the heavy oily restaurant briyani and veggies. It was light on the tummy and tasted good! I wanted to try the Thali here, but never got to it !

Will Miss KingPoush 2011-09-06
I have been to this place twice before. Once when it was newly started and the last time around a year back. Both the times the food was authentic and the service superb. I have been to Kashmir twice before and I re-lived the food and the shikara experience twice. Sadly would be missing this place as you have decided to move out and deprive us of this beautiful experience.
I will be making a final visit before you leave us :( on the 10th of Sep 2011 in the afternoon. I will come with my family and my in-laws. Would love to experience the lovely food again. -

Trust me we will also miss our food lovers since it has been really a wonderful experience all these years to cater food with homely service to our guests.
We would again like to thank all our foodies for giving us tremendous encouragement and at the same time help us improve by pointing out our errors.
It has been quite a learning experience so far and that is definitely going to help us in future.

Hello Adutee,
KongPoush is our first baby and under present circumstances it looks difficult to continue this and start in Goa as well.
We are also starting a resort named as Saffron Valley which will definitely require my full presence and attention.
After shifting and settling down in Goa we will definitely try and come back to Mumbai as soon as possible.

Signature Kashmiri Style - Must visit 2011-08-27
I have thoroughly enjoyed the food whenever I have been there. Most recently, had Haakh with Sabuz Polav. The taste is very unique, which probably comes from the unique condiments and ingredients that the menu talks about. The dessert is pretty good... I had the Phirni, served in an earthen katori... but a tad expensive. Choose Shikara seats, it is extremely comfortable and it's unique to this restaurant. All in all, a must visit!! -

Janab..frankly bomay mein aisi jageh ka hona bade ascharya ki baat hai....hindustan me restaurant ka matlab sirf ambience hota hai food secondary ho jaata hai..bombay mein starters to phir bhi theek mil jaate hain lekin main course bahut kam jageh par sahi mil paata hai..lekin yahan kahaani alag hai..starters ke saath main course bhi amazing hai....yahan ka zaayka bilkul alag..kashmiri style aur spices ke saath....mujhe waqt nahi mil paata yahan aksar jaane ka lekin jaise hi mauka milta hai main yahi jaana chahta hoon...khaane waalon ke liye ye jageh jannat hai...yahan ka mutton shorba unique hai... read more -

Dipankar ji hum aapke bahut aabhari hain ki aap KongPoush aaye aur humay aapki seva karne ka avsar diya.
Kitnay khoobsurat andaz mein aapne humaray khane aur mehman navazi ki tarif ki hai.
Hum to bus yehi chaahatay hain ki issi tarhah hum apne mehmaano ki khidmat karte rahain.

Must try 2011-08-06
I would highly recommend this place for people who have frequented pubs,lounges and places where they claim to give good food but which ain't the case.The place has a really good feel to it with the built up shikaras and pleasant music playing.The food is the finest ever Kashmiri cuisine that you can get .The cold Kahwa for me was the best drink from the menu.There isnt any specific dish that I would recommend. It's a must visit if you havent tried it yet...Keep up the good work. :) Will definitely come again !!! -
