Entering the Gulf Hotel you'd think the place would be really shady but surprisingly isn't. We went on a tuesday evening at 10 pm and they were full but luckily there was no waiting so we got a table soon enough.
Ambience & Decor: It is a great place to chill out at. There was good music playing. I like the way the place is done up with various seatings. Even the loo has a very rustic feel. Since it is winter the weather made the experience even better.
Food: Ordered Paneer tikka, Paneer do pyazza and dal makhani. Paneer tikka and dal was good but the dish of the day was the paneer do pyaza. Ordered a hooka also which was ok. Couldn't really taste the flavour well.
Service: The service was extremely good. The waiters were helpful and courteous especially since we were celebrating someones birthday. The best thing is even if you are having only hooka they let you sit in peace and not rush you.
Peeves: Unfortunately they now shut by 1 1:30 unlike earlier when they would remain open till three. They don't serve any alcohol.
Great place to hang out at especially since we have very few rooftop restaurants.
