I was surprised... 2011-03-10
This is a small cozy restaurant and i walked in with not much hopes.. the only thing i wanted was some good food.. This place gave me that along with a cozy ambience..and gud service. Since the restaurant is small it can seat a limited number of guests because of which the waiters pay a lot of attention to you...The indian food here is gud..im going to keep visiting this place.. as and when i want some good indian food with comfort.. -

Get a takeaway menu!! 2011-01-23
Funniest thing about Kurry Leaf is that their food tastes a lot better when you get it home delivered.The food borders just around average if you actually visit the place and eat there but the same food ordered at home wud get atleast minimum four stars from me.The ambience is nice but offers nothing new.The service is quite good.We have been served by the same guy every time and he seems eager to please so no complaints there.My recommendation wud be to just get a takeaway menu! -

Went looking for a place called Ming's legacy and did not find it (guess it's shut down) so went to Kurry Leaf instead.
Opened the menu to see continental, the garlic chicken with walnuts caught my fancy and just when I had my heart set on it, the waiter came up and told us 'continental is unavailable' - (Disappointment No. 1)
Ordered iced tea (Lemon and Peach) which came without a stirrer (not that we cared much). We used a spoon but what was upsetting that no amount of stirring bought the iced tea to life! (Disappointment No. 2)

We had ordered for a Chicken Caesar salad to begin with, and although it was not bad, the chicken pieces were sometimes bitter due to over-grilling and it could've done with more sprinkling of parmesan. This was followed by main course - one Nasi Goreng in prawns and one Chicken Stroganoff. The prawns in the Nasi Goreng smelled too much and I would've preferred them to have a subtler taste. The spices were nice though. The Chicken Stroganoff was a big disappointment. While it wasn't a bad tasting dish by itself, a stroganoff is supposed to be in white sauce while this one was in brown... read more -
