I visited Lemon grass for lunch with parents. Ordered Tom Yum soup. Was good but not spicy as people have said here. For starters ordered chilly straw potato, paneer in dry red chilly. Both had similar sauce so order one out of it. Was ok, nothing extraordinary. Then ordered shitake mushroom and chestnut dumpling. It was ok but really dips were awesome. Then in main course went for khauoswe with noodles. It is like a huge dish and only for 285. There was a bowl of curry. bowl of noodles and some accompaniments. You mixed by yourself according to your taste. But curry was too sweet and very high... read more

  • Dinner with large group 2012-02-25

Have been here several times and mostly my experience had been good. The waiters are honest when you ask for recommendations and the spice levels can be adjusted from mild to moderately spicy. The only thing that was Very spicy was the
Tom yum soup. Their ice tea is expensive but worth having. Also try the chilli coriander sauce with exotic vegetables.

  • Good food at a decent price 2012-02-21

I am a lemon grass fan....a few dishes i've really enjoyed are spinach dimsims, thai green curry, and the chilly paneer starter(spicy).....the food has always been great. The only scope of improvement is on soups(esp. thai soups).....A place worth trying....would not be dissapponted. Has good service too.

  • Needs to buck up 2011-11-14

I dine at Lemon Grass quite often and my order, almost always, is the same. However, my last few visits left me a tad bit disappointed. I was there last night and dinner was just ok. They make this really nice aam panna drink... used to be my favourite... "used to" being the important words. Now it tastes completely synthetic so I settled for Apple Lemonade which was ok. Then comes their som tam salad. Again it used to be absolutely delicious. Now, it's too spicy and their kind of kanjus with the peanuts. This is the third time I've dined there and the salad wasn't up to the mark. Lastly, there's... read more

  • Deducted extra money after 1 month ! 2011-10-10

I had been here sometime in September and had a good meal. I remember paying by my credit card and not leaving a tip since they have a service charge.
One month later, they deduct Rs. 80 from my account !!
I was shocked and called them to ask them the reason, they were rude and said they didn't do it. I asked to speak to their manager and they didn't let me.
I said I'll have to complain to the bank, they said go ahead, we don't care.

Bad attitude for a place that has had such good reviews.

Went to Lemon Grass for the first time. A very good experience. The staff was very polite and took good care of us. The service was also very prompt and I am some one who dosen't like to wait for my food to be served.

  • Excellent food and service 2011-09-15

I'll definitely be returning here regularly. The staff was courteous, prompt and informative / helpful, the highlight was however the food and better still is that it's real value for money. 5 stars from me!!!

  • Will go here again 2011-08-18

We entered and we felt at home. it was a small reunion of friends and we wanted to go some place special and cozy. We sat outdoors at Lemon Grass in mid afternoon. It was quiet pleasant. Though indoors is also neatly decorated with east Asian compliments.
We loved the mini meals variety for both non-veg and veg category. The quantity of food even for a mini meal is fabulous and can be shared among two. But if you have a big appetite don't bother sharing.
The service was quick and staff very courteous. We were eying the desert shelf at far corner of the restaurant. But we loved it when

If one is ever in Bandra, and hungry, then there sure are a lot of places to satiate that hunger. However, if one is in Bandra, and hungry, there is only one place that satiates the soul!
You just cannot go wrong when you go to Lemon Grass.

Its located at one of Bandra's busiest corner (right besides Gloria Jeans Coffee). Earlier the outside area was open-air. However, better sense prevailed and now the management has made a sort of transparent plastic-acrylic partition, with air conditioning. So you now get the

  • Food is the saviour 2011-08-03

The pelting rains were making it difficult for me and my comrades to find a place to dine and atlast there we see at the corner of the street a restaurant called Lemon Grass. So we quickly hop in the restaurant to sit at a nice cozy corner table at the outside area but here comes my waiter saying that I cannot occupy the corner table because it’s meant for a bigger group. Well I understand if I’m refused to be given my desired table if the restaurant is full or if there are people in waiting but the restaurant is empty! I requested the waiter if he could allow us use the corner table but he only... read more
