Sadly, one of my fav hang out places has turned into a run of the mill restaurant. The staff is unfriendly,it almost feels like they're obliging customers by waiting on them. The prices too have shot up ridiculously.I can understand a slight increase in prices to keep costs/profits covered, but an unreasonably big jump is so not justified. Not at all pocket friendly as it used to be for the middle class youth, not the same place as it used to be up to 2 years back.I remember this one time when a waiter ignored my signal and rushed to a table full of foreigners.I don't think wanna go to a place that... read more

  • Stick to the Eat and Go Routine

I would advice ppl to sit in the lower level order their beers and dishes, not expect too much attention from the waiters and be patient with your orders.

Post 26/11 the place has dramatically changed it's approach to customers. Gone, are the days when there used to be these friendly lot of guys serving you some beer. It's all about maximum profits, fast moving rounds of orders on tables and i guess the number of souvenirs sold in a day.

visited this place many times and 2 times after the 26 / 11 attack . The Chinise food is yummy and good quantity refering to the fried rice , The Indian food sucks , the worst butter chicken i ever had , the Tikkas were stale and used the fat portion of chicken in it , they cant customize the order at all , they charge u for peanuts too , the waiters and the staff are rude , the owner sits and talks loudly about the expenses he has personally , waited for 25 mins exactly the get my fried rice , the nan was burnt . and the moment u step up u find pimps and robbers , so mind u r pockets . its just... read more

  • argh!

This joint needs to be torn down! This is what i felt after witnessing the careless attitude, and tall ego's of the staff.

Leopold was synonymous with a good outing for me and my gang, when in south Bombay, but the I guess the recently gained ( not deserved ) popularity gained by this joint, seems to have clearly gone to their head.

The staff is sloppy and behaves rudely , and when taken up with the management u learn that these guys are the real tutors of the attitude the staff has.
I guess leopold is focusing more on fooling new comers than trying to retain its frequent
