First and last visit 2012-02-04
First and last visit. 10 minutes to take an order, 30 minutes and still no sign of [overpriced] sundae. Refused to cancel order and lied about order time even though written on order slip. Rude and unhelpful staff verging on harassment. Ugh, worst restaurant experience of life -

I read a lot of these comments about how they're treating white people better... I dunno about that.. it might be true- but honestly, I'm white and the service at Leos is mediocre verging on rude even if you are white.I've been there a few times, in the course of 3 visits to Mumbai since 2010. The beer is beer-like... the food is what you'd expect in a bar... not great, but it keeps you drinking. The only reason I go there is because it's one of the few places that, as a white person, you can go and pretty much guarantee to have other tourists to chat to. This is the place where my fiancee had her first sip of beer during our courting days. It will always hold a special place in my heart. They say Leopold reflects what Mumbai is. I disagree. It does not. If you want a place to reflect Mumbai, go to any of the small eateries in Lower Parel or Dadar. But if you want to be the yuppie Mumbaite, then Leopold is the place to be. Went there with a few friends quite some time ago, Sat on the mezzanine floor, Pub Like, too loud for me, But the Food was awesome, I would not call it over priced at all, The prices are high ,but the quality and the portions are really good, Had a few chicken starters, some prawns and followed by a Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, peppered by a few large Baccardis. Prawns are to die for, the Best I have had so far (Chinese - probably Prawns Chilli.). I could not believe the soup, it was practically a meal by its self.
