    Ok, so Leopold is more or less like a Mumbai monument now. I have been there a couple of times and honestly I don't understand what the hype is all about. Yes, the place is big, yes it has good music but that's IT. I didn't think the food was THAT great and the only thing I have ever noticed is that foreigners get a higher preference over desi customers here. The place has two levels, one is on the ground floor which has no AC and another on top which is much smaller but is air conditioned and TIGHTLY packed.     I feel its the history which brings people here !! The ambiance okay but if you want to chill with friends and having beer simultaneously, this is the place for your group !! The prices have increased a lot in the past 2 years and now I feel it comes under the expensive category !! You can easily see the bullet marks on the walls which makes this place historical !! As far as food is concerned, its average !!

    The cafe is quite crowded especially on weekends as it is quite popular.one could find good crowd here at any time.the service is quick and dishes here taste different than the other restaurants in the city.

    Wonderful place...noisy ...perpetually crowded, mostly firangs !!
    a Sure HIT for BEER Lovers ....Food wise Strictly OK, but that is understandable as No body goes to Cafe Leopold just to HOG !! Best Place to hang out with bunch of friends.
    Try to go in the afternoon or early eve n then continue sitting or else it gets pretty crowded n u will need to compromise on the seating.

    Ambience - Classy OLD School Charm without much or RATHER No changes since the time i remember it almost 15 years ago

    This has always been a place for foreigners to meet each other. After the 26/11 attacks the place became a household name all over the country and now Indians too flock there in large numbers. It's pleasant to sit there and gaze over Colaba - as it's one of the rare bars that is open to the street. A pitcher of beer comes in a tall attention-grabbing tube with a tap attached. So by all means, go there to spend an evening and chat over a drink. The food is terrible, don't even bother with that.

    If you want anything more, then this is not the place. The food is just about ok, the desserts terrible. It is an old, landmark venue, so people flock here. Otherwise there is nothing much to write home about.

    This is one awesome place to have a couple of beers, infact this is the only place in Mumbai where beer is served in an environment it is supposed to be served. I dont know about the food or about any other drinks, because I have never had anything but the beer! The taste is same, but the feeling is different. It is old, not fancy and that is the best part. The service is awesome, the people are very friendly. The place is simple, very simple, that is why it brings one so much joy!     Leopold is a landmark in Colaba. You love it, you hate it but you can't ignore it is the case here. Close to 150 years old, this cafe is buzzing with activity all through the day. Foreigners are dominant than locals.

    Ambiance is like any other cafe but Leopold retains the old British world charm. Plus to add to the mystique around, there are the bullet marks on the walls reminding everybody of the terror attacks of 2008. It's quite a tourist attraction since then.

    I had been to Leopold wid my fiance on a sunday evening. He ordered a beer and i sticked to Ice Tea. Ice tea was a bit bitter which they replaced after i complained about it.

    For starters we ordered Chilly Cheese toast which was yummy with generous cheese over it. The only thing was that i felt it was a bit overpriced. The main course was Paneer tikka masala wid Naan. The gravy was superb wid fried pieces of paneer which i dont like.

    Overall great place to chill wid friends. :)

    Looking forth to trying Chinese next tym i get der.
