Horrible Veg Briyani 2011-12-26
I ordered Veg Briyani for this christmas lunch i.e. 25/12/2011. I ordered 4 plates and it was so horrible no taste, masala was horrible, rice was not cooked. I had to throw all of them. For Rs.130/- a plate its is not worth Rs.30/-. My family was so upset as we ruined our christmas lunch, I still have the bill with me. I was really unlucky & stupid to have a briyani from lucky. Lucky should close down before it comes unlucky. -

Crushed bones in Chicken Biryani?! 2011-12-16
Wanted to write about this since quite long. Have been to and ordered from Lucky, more than 10 times till date. Recently ordered Chicken Biryani for me and 5 of my friends, at BKC (Not so far from Lucky). Usually one would expect 2 - 3 pieces of Chicken with every rice ordered. To our surprise, we got one boney chicken piece per plate and two potato pieces. Very Disappointing. While we continued to have the rice one of us highlighted that this dish is NOT Chicken Biryani but Mutton Biryani (Disappointment 2). lucky Restaurant HUMILIATES its Customers. 2011-12-13
i went to lucky on 13.12.11 for breakfast after eating & paying for breakfast i went to the rest room and was going towards the exit when i was stopped by the management, who wanted to know if i had eaten my breakfast and then went to the extent of asking the payment counter if i had my breakfast. i had to ask the waiter who served me to tell the "management" then i had and paid for the breakfast. then they began stating security reasons for stopping me ..the entire experience was very humiliating as it would be for any one in my place.. i would advice all not to go to lucky restaurant

One of the best Biryani 2011-10-28
Try this one if you are a Biryani lover.... It is amongst the few old Biryani makers in town which serves authentic Momedian style biryani..... Though a mutton biryani is the only recognised form of biryani, do try the chicken biryani here. Ask the captain to serve it with a breast piece.... Also Chicken Tandoor alongwith Butter Chicken is very nice!!! -

Went to this place today... seated in a/c section. ordered reshmi tikka for starters .. it was re heated and did not taste as it should.. main course of matka chicken and biryani .. both of them were tasteless... lucky's famed biryani is not really good... atleast we didnt find it...last but not the least... their staff is abusive to each other in front of customers... -

Must try Place 2011-08-20
No matter how many times i cross over the lane ..i cant stop looking at the restaurant and contemplating - do i have time or not !! ....known / been here since childhood and always come here when in bandra !!! The Ambiance is that of a normal irani resto ...they might have a shoddy service ...but who care's when they serve the best Biryani and Reshmi Kabab in the sector ... i have a sweet tooth so fall for all sweet things ...go for small cuppy caramel custard they serve.....even though lil expensive for its size ...but it leaves you with a good taste to the mouth ...that just had some spices... read more -

Staff RUINS it ALL !!!!!!!! 2011-07-03
Went to dis place, not for a first time and hav always found some new reason to complain; but the hotel staff are a common feature in every visit complaint list.
We were 6 of us and wen the person responsible for the seating heard that we felt he wud faint of shock................
Okay aftr he woke up we got a place in their dingy AC section which they call it their "GARDEN AREA" .. okay nows d list
* no one to take the order
*dust bin rite next to the eating table; wen bought this to the notice of the concerned he said that's where the dustbins are always placed......wtf ?

Great biryani, tandoori and paneer masala 2011-07-01
Went here on recommendation and was not disappointed. They took us to the enclosed AC area, which was a great relief from Mumbai May heat! Service was decent. Food was very good and $25 was total bill for 3 people to eat a great lunch! -

Ok food pathetic waiters don't even bother to take order properly......if they take....god bless you that you get your food on time......dont bother to clean tables.......if you complain to manager he just looks at you as if you are dumb.........ouch...... -
