Buffet at Machan. 2012-05-16
Machaan is a typical jungle themed restro with buffet abd a la carte.They offer an amazing variety of starters including prawn and fish.The starters were incredibilly amazing and could it self fill ones stomach.The main course was not so special but the desserts were really to look forward for they offered cakes, Kulfis and ice creams. -

Mode of Payment 2012-05-14
Zomato website says the restaurant accepts Meal Coupons as mode of payment, but when called the restaurant they dont accept the meal coupons. Can anybody confirm this ? -

Slow service and bad desserts 2012-04-12
Went to the place for lunch on a weekend. We had reached a bit early and so were lucky to get a table immediately, as we could a crowd of people waiting for the tables by the time we finished. The décor is done in jungle style with extensive use of bamboo, wood and leaves. They have a fixed price menu where starters are served on the table while the main course and desserts are in buffet.
The soup was served promptly but the starters were painfully slow to come. Most of the veg starters were fried ones which was a bit disappointing. In terms of taste too, the starters were pretty average.... read more -

Good Food, ok service, value for money 2012-04-07
went for lunch on a Saturday. Buffet menu was extensive, food quality was good.
but service was just okie, at times servers were rushing everything and at times they disappeared. but food seems to make up for this.
food quality = 4/5
food variety = 4/5
ambiance = 4/5
service = 3/5 -

Very very bad service 2012-03-04
We had a group celebration (office) at Machaan on the 24th Feb.I did read the reviews online and was expecting a good meal & service but was very dissatisfied on the service. We were around 46 people and only 2-3 waiters were assigned to us. We were literally hungry and the waiter use to serve only 2-3 pieces of starters (chicken, fish) and the next round round was after a wide gap of 15-20 mins. We informed this situation to the restuarant manager but stil there were no improvements. Finally we decided to start off with the main course. -

Great food great service 2012-02-20
We had a family celebration at Machaan on the 19 feb.I did read the reviews online and was expecting a good meal but was uncertain about the service and especially Mr Chirag.But was pleasantly surprised by his warm welcome and genuine hospitality.We told him that we would like the crab shell to cracked as easy to eat.We informed him we were a party of twelve but only 6 were able to make it at this time and the rest would be joining us later.Mr Chirag was very accomadating and met our request promptly.Mr Chirag was a great host and runs the established exceedingly well.The food was really great... read more -

very bad service 2012-02-13
ok place..relatively good food but horrible service.
for starters - good prawns, paneer stuff.
they took for ever to get pani puri ...which tasted like crap.
overall good spread. -

Me and my 4 frnds had been to Machaan on the 04th of Feb, last Saturday. Must say, we came out satisfied. As usual the food was amazing. But the most satisfying part was the staff. We would like to very specially mention abt Chirag Suchak (Rest. Manager) & Prabhat our service guy. They both were amazing & did a wonderful job. They not only did a great job with us, but also with the others in the restaurant. I come from the Hotel Industry too & I know how much hardship & staying on the feet is needed. Kudos to Chirag Suchak & Prabhat for that amazing job. We will be back very soon.

Amazing Ambiance and Food 2012-02-02
I had been to Machaan after a long time coz i always had in mind tht its a good place for a chnage but wth bad food quality.....but to my surprise whn i visited it ws full on a weekday and the restaurant is turned entirely into buffet the food rocked....i also conversed with Mr. Chirag to know more about how the management landed up getting such a change....to which he being very polite and very well mannered answered to all my questions and made a bonding which a manager is suppose to make with a customer....i really appreciate his efforts to make customers comfortable.....i am an hotelier i know... read more -
