Immensly avoidable 2012-05-04
This is the same place where I had gone last year (during mango season) and had a serious, by that I mean really serious case of food poisoning. Later on I read in the newspaper that several others also had a problem. and the management in the news article was adamant that it wasn't their food. The callous and indifferent behavior of the management put me off their thali.
After several months I mustered up the courage to go back at the insistence of an NRI friend after the new branding came in to play, but like somebody said its only the decor & cutlery which has changed. The food still... read more -

On a Sunday family lunch when the majority is vegetarian and in love with their regular roti-sabzi, there is no better choice than Rajdhani. So on one of these lunches we headed to The Oberoi mall to gorge on the mighty thali at Rajdhani which is now Maharaja Bhog. When asked why, we were told by the management that the partners of the original chain split and one of them decided to rename his share of restaurants. Same old Rajdhani 2012-03-12
Same old Rajdhani - aprt from the brass cutlery..so why shud one pay more than before. Food tastes the same. The Gold decor adds the regality but one gets an impression that one pays for the upgraded decor & not the food.

Please avoid 2012-02-19
Firstly do not get carried away by the re-branding exercise, it is the same old Rajdhani in a new packet ! The service is sad and sadder is the staff attitude. They dump u with things u dont wanna eat but u keep asking for things u want to eat . Food is stale and you feel uneasy after eating it. Not at all worth the price. -

Okay, first fall I always thought that this was a new chain of restaurants... Came to know just yesterday that this is Rajdhani high budget remake... Had been to the Inorbit Malad outlet few days back.. Average food, but yes, it tasted better than Rajdhani... The spread is usual with simple salad, fried farsan, baked farsan, 4 types of veg, 2 types of dal, 2 types of kadhi, different kinds of rotis & rotlas, plain rice, khichdi, choice of sweets (you get to take only 1), complimentary mineral water bottle... and yes unlimited supply of buttermilk... the crockery has changed to the heavier brass... read more -

Yups it is a different chain of restuarant it has got no link to rajdhani at all... its Maharaja Bhog - Premium Veg Thali

Supposedly the high-budget remake of Rajdhani... Awaiting a review! Not that I love paying for veg food, but gujrati-rajasthani thalis have always been an exception. -
