    I went there with my wife on Valentines Day 2013.

    1. The management offered red roses to all the ladies seated at the tables. Except to my wife.

    2. I asked for jasmine tea. But after the first cup, was never offered a refill.

    3. We changed to a better table midway through our meal. The waiter did not bother to replace the dirty coasters from the previous diners. The waiter failed to provide table napkins too!

    Overall, a disappointment. Food was nothing special either. Spoilt our evening. Not going again.

    I had come with family for dinner and had ordered some rice dish which had an insect in it. The manager also agreed to it. We had to leave our dinner right there and would never suggest any one to this restaurant . A horrible experience coming from a reputed restaurant like MAINLAND CHINA

    I had gone to their outlet in Bandra last week with my family & we were offerd the Emperor's menu. The Emperor's menu was a steal considering the price they were offering it in. Imagine a 4 course all you can eat non vegetarian dinner meal for Rs. 678 only & that is including the taxes. I was skeptical about the quality of the food as I was thinkìng that the quality must be different than their ala cart menu but surprise surprise it was the very same quality.

    To keep up to the level of all the other outlets is not as easy as it seems, especially for a place that is loved by many. But Mainland China has outdone itself! The ambiance is standard, typically authentic like the other outlets, gives you a feel of traditional China. The tables are huge, so skip the place if you are planning to go out on a dinner date.
