It's been three weeks that i have been visiting Man United cafe on a Thursday especially since its a karaoke nite...I have been a karaoke regular at possible all the karaoke hot spots and finally landed at Man united cafe for karaoke on the insistence of a few other karaoke friends.
On entering the place i see the whole place brimming wid people who are so engrossed in wats happening n are oblivious to everything else happening around them. on moving in i realise that the nite is being conducted by Kroakin karaoke n i must admit that i have heard a lot about these guys from the people everywhere.
i immediately wen to the lady at the consol and asked her if i cud sing a song and she sweetly told me that the line was really long but she wud accommodate me if possible.... cant blame her as i cud see it was busy like hell.
While i waited for my song i experienced sumthing that i have never seen before at any karaoke nite, people singing, others dancing n the singer getting to drink sumthing straight from a bottle which i later realised was a vodka mix....GREAT.
I finally got to sing my song at the fag end of the nite but relished every bit of it and i must say it was worth the wait.
It seems like there is a team of these two guys and a lady that run the show there n they do a fantastic job. They really get the crowd entertained and make people feel important. The guy wid the long hair, Nash i think it is seems very organized and knows wat he does and exudes a lot of confidence, while the Lady is just busy seeing that everything is in order and all get to sing their songs. The host is terrific and get the action goin and never lets the momentum die and ptus u at ease if u are a first timer....way to go guys.
The service i must say is really prompt. the food is Good and the staff warm. Its a good thing to see a nice pleasant and tall handsome guy greet u wen u enter.
so much for my first experience. the next two weeks were the same if not better n i must admit that kroakin karaoke nites are fun nites if ur a real karaoke lover and not a show off.
Please keep these nites rocking as they redefine the term karaoke
