I am ditched today again.
I had booked a cab at around 1.15pm today from Koparkhairane to Mumbai Central Station to drop my parents,
The pickup time was 4.30pm from Koparkhairane, Booking was done 3 hours ago through Internet and the confirmation number was also generated immediately.
I was rest assured and waited for the cab till 4.15, when i did not get any call from the CAB driver till 4.15, i called the customer care than,
I was shocked to listen that there was no CAB available at that point of time and they were unable to serve us.

really terrible service...no cab arrived at the scheduled time though i had booked 20 hrs in advance...and when i called the enquiry i was told that the cab broke down and they will arrange for another...this after I called !! ...I got no information about the driver or cab even after repeatedly calling them up.....except that we will send a cab!! any further delay would have caused me to miss my flight!! so had to arrange for another early mrg at 4 am!!!.....sad i did not look up the reviews here...other who do plz plz do not rely on meru !!!!!!!!
I was running late for an important business meeting yesterday and I immediately called for a Meru Cab & was pleasantly surprised to find it at my door bang on time. Being a loyal customer of Meru, I am happy that a service of such quality bails me out even from the most chaotic situation! Proud to be a Meru customer :)
Meru says ’Rely on us’, but practically they behave just opposite to it. Today i was shocked to hear that they cannot arrange me cab just 15 minutes before my car booking. I booked car 24 hours before, but still operator failed to assign car to me. Operator told me that you please adjust yourself.
Finally, talking with their supervisor I got a cab assigned. Cab came 20 minutes late than booking time. The real shocker was when cab driver told me that he was waiting to be assigned for last 1.5 hours.

They have become like yellow and black taxis..they don't take bookings for nearby distance. When ever I ask for a booking from my home which is thane to anywhere in south Bombay, airport or bandra or any far off place...I get the cab immediately but every time I ask for a booking from thane to nearby area like mulund or bhandup..without fail I ve been told that all slots are full and hence booki ng can't be done..this is ridiculous..we don't need an ac version of black yellow taxi like unprofessional behavior...I'm planning to write to the bombay traffic police..if any of unhave faced a similar... read more
OK. I booked a meru cab exactly 24 hours prior. The Website allows you to book a cab only 24 hours before . so if its 6pm now. you cant book a cab for seven tomorrow. or even 6:05. Honest, Go see for yourself. Ok so i needed the cab at 12 20 am the next day i booked the cab exactly at 12 20 am the day before. I booked it exactly 24 hours early. I recieved a message and email saying ill recieve the cab details 20 mins prior the pick up time. So i call them at about 11 30am the next day. I got through only after trying for about 20 minutes. They never turn at the time of need. I wanted to book a cab at 4 am to board a international flight. But as usual they said cabs are not avaialble..... Its happening for almost 4 th time to me....
Meru deserves negative stars if any. Firstly, they are absolutely unreliable, when you need them the most they would ditch you. Secondly, the booking system is unreliable, even confirmed bookings are arbitrarily cancelled at the 11th hour Thirdly, some of the cabbies are plain unethical - ask for tips, turn up late etc. Take my word for it, Easy cabs is a better bet
