Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get in (place was full - which always increases the attraction), we finally found a table at this popular place (on a week night). The food is genuine Italian, I must say, so compliments! (Not to be immodest but having spent 7 years in Italy, I should know!) The staff could do with a little more training - simple stuff like "don't suggest food if you don't know what your customer wants" , "pronounce the dishes correctly" - nothing earth shattering but it would add that completeness to an otherwise good dining experience.

The service staff is terrible. They do not customize the food according to your liking. Straight away refuse by saying the chef will not accept it. Which makes this restaurant very hostile. And believe me you'd rather go to any other restaurant than this one.
Standing room only. That’s often what you get at a crowded entertainment venue – at the popular bar down the road, say – or at a cricket stadium during a big game. But not at Mia Cucina. Perhaps uniquely, not only does Mia Cucina have very little room to sit – 6 tables, maybe 8 – it has no room whatsoever to stand. And lest you ever think otherwise – be warned – the owner will make sure you don’t forget it.
A few nights ago, a friend and I decided to go to Mia Cucina for dinner. My friend called to make a reservation, but was told that they didn’t accept them. Fair enough. We went anyway,... read more
