the best lassi on earth especially the pista.
quality comes at a cost.besides their samosas, batata wadas and mava pedas are superb too.
they do not compromise on quality.
we always end up taking a lot of their stuff to the gulf -muscat.
their Chole bature is also fantastic. -

I have just one word for this place & that is superb!!!.
The food here is really good!!. everything is prepared fresh in front of you in desi Ghee & Butter.
The Tandoor rotis are made of whole wheat & drip in Ghee.
The subzis are fresh & crisp.
The pav bhaji is best in Mumbai.
The pani puri is superb
The lassi is excellent
The service is a bit slow & moody.
prices are reasonable
Ambience is average.
all in all ........superb!!! -

I had heard a lot about this place from my friends living in this part of the city. So I went with decent expectations. I've heard rave reviews about the vada pav here and the lassi especially. The vada pav had excess of salt and I had to throw half of it away.
The lassi was a special disappointment. Firstly it is a total ripoff charging 22 Rs for a tiny glass of lassi. Secondly it tasted so ghastly that I have to say that this place must have reached an all time low. I urge the enthusiasts of this place to visit it again and try out the lassi one more time. best lassi in mumbai 2007-03-01
Me being a townie reviewing a place is malad is weird, but i gotta do this. I had to go to malad for a cousins house warming party. Once i steped outside the station i heard some scary voice on a loudspeaker proclaiming the lassi served at this place. Which i must agree is the best i have ever had in mumbai. They also have a neat selection of bhel,pani puri, ragda pattice and the works. Will definetly try that the next time i am in malad !!! -
