Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
This is the second review I'm writing for this place, and I can't help but say I love this little eatery. Whenever I'm in Kemps Corner, I always stop by! The service is totally perfect - the waiters are attentive and well-mannered. The ambience - that's what I go for!
Now for my second staple from Moshe's! The oven-baked pasta :-)
It's creamy, cheesy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I added chicken to my pasta - they're pretty generous with add-ons, I must say. I chose the garlicky white sauce and it was yummy! The side platter of garlic bread sticks are chewy, toasty and burstin... read more
Built on the mezzanine floor of the crosswords book shop, this place is great because it serves great coffees and snacks. The best thing about it, is that it allows you to bring books from crosswords and read them whilst you sip your coffee (you want to avoid that if you are clumsy) It is quieter in the afternoons and early evenings but by around 5:30ish it gets very crowded and noisy. Finally, we ordered the Grilled Jalapeno Chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and harissa sauce in an onion focaccia (that's an Italian bread flavoured with herbs and onions) & my friend had some average sandwich that I don't even remember! My sandwich, needless to say, was the best sandwich I've had so far! The harissa sauce was totally divine and so sumptu... read more
Dropped into this place last Saturday afternoon with a few friends. The thing that i liked most about this place was the cozy feel to it, quite possibly because it is tucked away in one small quaint little upstairs corner inside a huge book-store.
The staff was very friendly, we kept nagging them every 5 minutes to give us our table during our wait time but they just smiled and told us to be patient.
the food was very nice and well exceeded my expectations. I tried the honey plum chilli chicken sandwich which was really good but i think it was only on the daily special and... read more
