I usually go to garden court on my birthday but yesterday i made an exception and ended up at Moti Mahal Inorbit...and i must say it was the biggest mistake i made...We ordered for prawns goan curry and we got prawns makhani and when we asked one of the waiters he confirmed its prawns makhani but when we got the bill we were charged for prawns gaon curry which we never got and when we brougt this to the notice of the staff they kept arguing that it was indeed prawns goan curry... i being from konkon and a sea food addicted i have tried fish at many places and was confident that it was not goan prawns curry but inspite of all this the staff didn oblige they kept of saying it was the same...secondly we ordered masala papad which never came...there was no manager around whom we could address this issue to ... and we thought its not worth staying back so we paid the bill and moved out.
But trust me its expensive...service is pathetic and food not upto the mark...i spoiled my birthday but would suggest ppl to stay away from this place ..more over the waiters are in their own sweet world not bothered to serve u ..least interested to take any order..had the manager been there i would have definitely given him my peace of mind...anyways me never going there..i would prefer garden court copper chimney or mahesh lunch home but not Moti Mahal....so guys stay away from this place...
